Julieta Wolfsohn
Julieta Maria Wolfsohn-Hurley was born in Mexico to a Mexican mother and a German father.  She moved around a lot as a child, from Mexico to California, all the way up to Alaska. Julieta is a Registered Nurse with 34 years of experience in ambulatory clinics, case management, nursing informatics, intensive care units, and educational settings. She went to nursing school at Pasadena City College. Julieta has a master’s degree with emphasis in education in Nursing, from the University of Phoenix. She is a Senior Nursing Instructor for LAC+USC Medical Center. Julieta creates educational programs and projects for the hospital, coordinates with various high level multi-disciplinary professionals to develop hospital policies, standards and procedures. She mentors and instructs novice and seasoned nursing staff alike. Ms. Wolfsohn-Hurley is the Program Manager of Education for the ELLA Sports Foundation, a non-profit that works on empowering leadership in Latina athletes. Julie loves teaching as well as having a good laugh. Her joy is her family, her husband, Andrew Hurley, and her kids, Joshua and Elizabeth.
